Off the List

Well, it had to happen. With less than 1 week to go to my 4 year anniversary at sourceforge, my sourceforge email account has gone on the fritz. ----- The following addresses had permanent fatal errors ----- (reason: 550-This @users.sourceforge.net account doesn't exist or isn't currently) ----- Transcript of session follows ----- ... while talking to mail.sourceforge.net.: >>> DATA < << 550-This @users.sourceforge.net account doesn't exist or isn't currently <<< 550-functioning (mail to them is bouncing). You can check that you have the <<< 550-right address by checking http://sourceforge.net/users/xzilla/. It's also <<< 550-possible that this alias just isn't active yet. That’s a pretty big gap to miss in internet time. Especially after sending out an email soliciting help to do the new postgresql awards page. And what to do for 5 days with no email? I thought about cleaning out my inbox, but that seems self defeating. I do have a fair bit of work I could do, so I’ll probably focus on that. I also have a spare machine I could set up as a server… we’ll see if I get that bored :- Man this sucks.
