McDonalds Hipper Than Starbucks?

Looks like it, with the news that the [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Golden_arches golden arches] will be switching to [http://www.newmansown.com/ Newman’s Own] free trade organic [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coffee coffee]. It comes at a time when [http://www.starbucks.com/aboutus/default.asp Starbucks] has been [http://greenlagirl.blogspot.com/2005/10/starbucks-update-progress-you-tell-me.html taking some heat] for problems that customers have had getting free trade coffee in thier stores. It will be interesting to see how this shapes up, and I am curious if McDonalds might be planning future [http://www.morehipthanhippie.com/ eco-friendly] moves… perhaps a switch to [http://www.heinz.com/jsp/world.jsp#orGanic organic ketchup]?
