OSCon.2k5.5.Mid-Day-Report

Sitting in Miguel DeIcazas talk, discussing Novells linux migration. This morning I swung into David Wheelers bricolage 2.0 talk, the highlight was showing how bric can use php based templates, and using some fancy cpan modules you can write php code to use DBI for perl for your database stuff. Who needs PDO/Parrot eh? That should be available in bric 1.10 in a few months. Very cool. This afternoon I believe we’ll be swinging in to osdl to see there pg testing setup, which will be a nice way to cap off the week.
