By the Way, the Philidelphia Airport Sucks
Was doing some traveling about a week back and got stuck there during some heavy rains waiting for a connecting flight. Things that suck: Agents at the arrival gate telling me they are holding the connecting plane for me, so that I rush all the way to the opposite end of the airport only to find out that I “just missed it”. Sorry, they can’t hold a plane for anyone, especially when they need it to sit on the runway for 45 minutes before it can take off. But no big deal right, cause I can catch a connecting flight in 2 hours (except that its really 5 hours cause of the delay). And of course you know they were going to lose my luggage after that. What sucks most of all, no free wifi. Whats up with that? If small rinky dink airports can provide free wifi, surely the bigger airports could. I probably would have paid the $15 for it too had I been told I would be there for 5 hours, rather than told 2 hours, then another 30 minutes, then 45 minutes, then 20 minutes, etc… An interesting thing I did observe while wating for a plane was that someone luggauge was left sitting outside on the tarmac in the rain for a good 45 minutes to an hour. I wondered if thats what they mean by “unattended baggage”. If so they apparently don’t blow it up, cause when I got my luggage back the next day it was sopping wet (including a couple books I had brought along >:^O ), so apparently the luggage in the rain thing is standard practice in philly. I hate the philly airport.
