"Pagila" Hits CVS
In an effort to involve myself in even more awkwardly named projects, I’ve gone about [http://people.planetpostgresql.org/xzilla/index.php?/archives/177-Sakila-swings-BSD.html converting MySQL’s Sakila sample database] to PostgreSQL and humbly named it “pagila” (pronounced puh-gee-la). This is a port of the most recent version [0.8] and includes more triggers, functions, views and other goodness. There are a couple of items left that I want to address, at which point I’ll package it up as a more formal release, but wanted to give a heads up to any earlier adopters who might want to see the code in CVS. Christopher Kings-Lynne has kindly set me up with a new module in the [http://pgfoundry.org/projects/dbsamples/ sample databases project] where the code will be maintained going forward.
